* Es ist das fünfte Album der Band und wurde am [[3. Februar]] 1981 bei [[Polydor]] veröffentlicht.
* Produzent war der Bassist der Band, [[Roger Glover]].
* Für das Album wurden der Sänger und Schlagzeuger des vorherigen Albums ausgetauscht.
* Die Besetzung war:

** [[Ritchie Blackmore]] (Gitarre)
** [[Don Airey]] (Keyboards)
** [[Roger Glover]] (Bass und Percussion)

== Musik ==
* Das Album geht den Weg einer Kommerzialisierung der Musik der Band, den sie mit dem Vorgängeralbum ''Down to Earth'' begann, fort. Der Bandleader Ritchie Blackmore begeisterte sich damals nach eigenen Worten für den poppigen Hardrock der Band [[Foreigner (Band)|Foreigner]].
* Dennoch bietet das Album durchaus stilistische Abwechslung.
* Neben melodisch eingängigen Titeln wie ''Magic'' und ''I Surrender'' sind auch krachende, rifflastige Uptempo-Nummern wie ''Spotlight Kid'' oder ''Can`t Happen Here'' vorhanden.
* Der Titel ''No Release'' überzeugt mit [[Gospelmusik|Gospel]]feeling im Mittelteil.
* ''Midtown Tunnel Vision'' und das bereits genannte ''No Release'' bieten erstklassige blueslastige, an [[Jimi Hendrix]] erinnernde Gitarrenarbeit.
* Mit dem Titel ''Vielleicht Das Nächste Mal (Maybe Next Time)'' ist ein gefühlvoller, langsamer Instrumental enthalten.
* Der Schlusssong ''Difficult To Cure'' ist eine humorvolle Bearbeitung des Schlusschors aus [[Beethoven]]s 9. Sinfonie.
