<p><b>Neue Seite</b></p><div>Die '''editionBalkan''' ist eine im Herbst 2010 erstmalig im Berliner [[Dittrich Verlag]] erschienene Buchreihe. Als Gemeinschaftsprojekt mit dem Verlag CULTURCON medien ist das Ziel der ''editionBalkan'', zeitgenössische Autoren aus den [[Balkan]]ländern vorzustellen und deren melancholische und einzigartige Texte einem neuem Lesepublikum zugänglich zu machen. Die ''editionBalkan'' ist auf Nachhaltigkeit angelegt und möchte nicht nur das deutsche Lesepublikum für die Gegenwartsliteratur aus [[Südosteuropa]] begeistern, sondern den kulturellen Austausch der Balkanländer untereinander langfristig fördern und prägen. Dabei liegt der Schwerpunkt der ausgewählten Texte stets auf deren Individualität und Unverwechselbarkeit sowie der großen stilistischen und thematischen Bandbreite der einzelnen Autoren.<br />

Die [[Herausgeber]] Nellie und Roumen M. Evert wählten für die erste Staffel neun Werke aus [[Bulgarien]] aus. Somit liegen nun für dieses Projekt erstmalig deutsche Übersetzungen der Romane von Dimitar Atanassow, Maria Stankowa, Vladidslav Todorov, Bozhana Apostolowa, Palmi Ranchev, Jordan Iwantschew, Boika Aisowa uns Christo Karastojanow vor. Auch der letzte Roman des 2009 verstorbenen bulgarischen Enfant terrible [[Viktor Paskov]] gehört dazu. Der Schauspieler [[Max Volkert Martens]] präsentierte im Oktober 2010 gemeinsam mit den Autoren die ''editionBalkan'' im literarischen colloqium berlin, im Leipziger Haus des Buches sowie in der Romanfabrik in Frankfurt/ Main. <br />

== Weitere Projekte ==<br />
Passend zum Schwerpunkt der [[Leipziger Buchmesse]] 2011 sind in Zusammenarbeit mit traduki und der S. Fischer Stiftung drei Veröffentlichungen aus [[Serbien]] für das Frühjahr 2011 vorgesehen. Der dem serbischen [[P.E.N.]] zugehörige Romancier Sreten Ugrićič ist mit seiner Entmythologisierung der serbischen Geschichte im Roman "Für den unbekannten Helden" ein fester Bestandteil des Projekts. Desweiteren ist "Millenium Belgrad" von Vladimir Pištalo als dessen erste deutsche Übersetzung ebenso im Programm wie "Hamam Balkanien" des Autors Vladislav Bajac.<br />

Weitere Bücher aus Bosnien, Kroatien, Rumänien und anderen Balkanländern sollen folgen.<br />
