== Leben == <br />
Kaila Yu interessierte sich schon seit früher Jugend für Musik und Tanz. Sie lernte das Klavier- und [[Cello]]spiel, tanzte [[Ballett]] und beschäftigte sich klassischen chinesischen Volkstänzen. <br />

Als Studentin der Betriebswirtschaft begann sie nebenbei zu modeln. Sie wurde weiterempfohlen und wurde schon bald ein gut beschäftigtes Model auf Messen, hier besonders für Importeure von Waren aus Ostasien. Auf einer Messe für Import-Autos gewann sie den Titel "Most Searched Import Model".<br />

Sie beschloss ihr Studium zu unterbrechen und wurde ein professionelles Model für zahlreiche Kataloge, Kalender und Zeitschriften, darunter Import Tuner, [[Playboy]] und [[FHM]]. Sie eröffnete ihre eigene Website, um sich selbst zu vermarkten. 2003 erschien ihr erstes Album "Kaila". Gelegentlich tritt sie in Fernsehsendungen wie "[[MTV]]'s House of Style" und "The Man Show" auf, manchmal auch bei Playboy TV. Auftritte in Musikvideos anderer Künstler runden ihre Tätigkeiten ab. Außerdem war sie in kleineren Rollen in den Spielfilmen "Three Sisters" und "Toilet Stories" zu sehen.<br />
