Nach der Parlamentswahl wurde diese Entscheidung zurückgenommen, und ein nationaler Vorentscheid mit Telefonvoting verantstaltet, der von Alyosha mit dem Song &#039;&#039;To be Free&#039;&#039; gewonnen wurde. Schon kurz danach mehrten sich [[Plagiat]]svorwürfe mit der Folge, dass dieser Song wieder zurückgezogen wurde. Nun wurde aber die Zeit knapp. Der Ukraine wurde erlaubt, einen neuen Titel nachzunominieren. Sie wählte mit &#039;&#039;Sweet People&#039;&#039; einen älteren, aber noch nicht veröffentlichten Song aus einem früheren Vorentscheid aus, der ebenfalls von Alyosha gesungen werden wird.
