Die Philosophie der Informatik ist ein Teilgebiet der Philosophie, das sich mit philosophischen Fragen im Rahmen der Informatik befasst. Hierbei handelt es sich nicht nur um Programmierung, sondern auch um die Erforschung von Konzepten und Methoden, die die Entwicklung und Wartung von Computer-Systemen unterstützt, sowie die mögliche Entwicklung der Digitalisierung.[1] Bisher gibt es noch kein allgemeines Verständnis von Inhalt, Ziel, Fokus oder Thematik der Philosophie der Informatik, obwohl es bereits einige Versuche in die Richtung Philosophie der Mathematik gibt.
